The archive is open to the public if they wish to use archival materials for research. The archives serve the students, faculty and staff of the Texas Medical Center, as well as historians, students, and researchers interested in historical medical research ranging from genealogy involving Texas doctors to the study of the long-term effects of the atomic bombings after World War II.
