LibKey Nomad is a browser extension that can get you to PDFs faster, even in PubMed!   This extension can be added to Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Safari.  It eliminates the need to find the “Open Athens login” or find the "View PDF" button on different publisher sites.

Installing LibKey Nomad is easy!

  • LibKey Nomad and compatible browsers 
  • Once the extension as been added, you will be prompted to select an institution.
    • Type Texas Medical Center Library and click the suggested link.

  • After installing the LibKey Nomad extension, your article records in PubMed will display a Download PDF button in the lower left-hand corner. Clicking this button will either take you directly to the PDF or prompt you to enter your OpenAthens credentials.
